My why: As a freelance graphic designer, I focus on assisting businesses with their creative challenges. I have many years of experience, a dedicated office space, excellent office equipment, subscriptions to Adobe CC, Adobe Stock Images, and Microsoft Office. I consider myself creative support, listening to, and working with an organization’s team so they can present the company with confidence.
My journey: I went to art school, and I wasn't ready to sit still so I joined the USAF and traveled the world. Next stop, back to school, landed a great job, had to move (family first), went back to school again so I could teach, decided not to teach, and started freelancing full time. Whew! I love what I do, I love the variety of projects and clients. Having contracted for large companies like Fiskars Brands, start-ups like BLU, part of the BREAKTHRU Family of Companies, and individuals that simply need their ideas put into action is very gratifying. It's exciting to look forward to what tomorrow brings, what I will learn, and what I will contribute.

My me: While I consider myself extremely fortunate to love what I do for a living; I share this good fortune with several non-profits and volunteer my skills. I also volunteer at the local food pantry as I feel community involvement is very important. Other than that, I can be found working remotely from my camper or being a barn rat hanging out with my horse.
My meditation: Be a better person today than I was yesterday and always be cheerful.
